All By My Lonesome...

Christian's job brings him all over the world - which has it perks (me getting to tag along pretty often) and it's disadvantages.  Well, let's first review just a few benefits...
1.  I can watch all my ridiculous reality shows when they are ACTUALLY on
2.  I can eat cereal for dinner if I feel like it or cookie dough for that matter
3.  I can somehow sleep in the bed the entire night and roll out in the morning and it look as if no one were ever in it - resulting in an easy fold over and just like that the bed is made :)
4.  My neighbors and I can have happy hour everyday! (Yeah, we are the REAL housewives of Atlanta)

Now, for a few of the disadvantages...
1.  Taking care of Bailey all alone can be a challenge
2.  I literally do not eat one fruit or vegetable the entire time he is gone which sends me into a downward spiral of depression
3.  I can't go to my trainer - which is bad when you don't eat your fruits and veggies
4.  I miss by best friend :(

I can't really say that I wish he didn't travel because like I said, I get to go with him a lot... I definitely enjoy that.  BUT, I have found that taking care of Bailey all by myself is a challenge.  This recent trip was entirely bananas - first, Bailey got an ear infection - her first one!  I thought I was being tortured by sleep deprivation.  She was up all night for days!  Then, daylight savings offered it's own inconveniences.  Bailey woke up nice and early Monday morning (4:30).  I literally had days in these past two weeks where I had to call a friend to come over and just sit while Bailey slept so I could go find sanctuary in Target.  Trips to Target don't arouse me the way they used to now that it requires getting Bailey in and out of her one million point harness carseat, getting her in a cart, and keeping her from pulling everything off the shelves!
I have decided that I prefer his trips to be no longer than a week - no weekends, and no longer than 5 days.  After that, I just start going CRAZY... and enters the FUNK :(

This recent trip has not been all tears and poor diet.  It has also presented some fun opportunities for me.  Even though I was so busy and felt so tired, I did manage to squeeze in some fun stuff.  I did my annual "Spring Spa Day" with my BF Megan - we always make that a lot of fun... facials, massages, a cocktail or two, and "inappropriate laughter"... I say this because Megan has this thing where if a room is too quiet or someone says something off kilter, she starts laughing - then I start laughing - then we can't stop until one of us pees our pants!
This can be a little interesting in the spa where you are supposed to be quiet and we are like dying trying to hold in laughter :)
Lastly, loneliness gets the best of me or my wallet I should say... When Christian is gone, I seem to revert back to my old days of superfluous spending...  Like, the poor diet and loneliness, this is where I have also had some fun.  Since he has been gone, I have hired a maid, bought a new Macbook, gone to a spa, gotten my car detailed, ordered Bailey her St. Patty's day outfit, and bought myself some new shoes and a super cute dress.  Yeah, I'm gonna be in trouble...

Well, he returns Friday and Bailey and I CANNOT WAIT!  She has learned so many new things in just these two weeks.  Now, she loves to run up to you and hug you (and everyone else)!
It is too cute! She has been to two birthday parties this month and LOVED them both.  She is full out running and speaking complete sentences - in what sounds like Chinese...

Anyhow, all has calmed down here and Dada comes home soon - I will no longer be all by my lonesome!

Running!

Loves walking around holding the phone to her head...
Here she is texting :)

Her first Valentine!

What do I do with this?

Oh, I put it on my head!

Or I give it to Mama!

My favorite thing to do - walk outside.

B-A-N-A-N-A-S!

Bailey's first ashes for Ash Wednesday

At Maggie's  Birthday Party

What is this?  Tea for two?
She was so intrigued by the older girls...

Found a cell phone!  Favorite toy...

She has her "faux" earrings on

With Mama

That looks fun
I think I will try...
Yay!
Playing

Loved the Barbie car

Not even out of the neighborhood and passed out!

This is a weird toy

We tried to color - Bailey just ate the crayons

I thought - let's try markers!

But she would rather tear the paper...

Don't be fooled by this face - it was up ALL NIGHT!

Look at that little noggin!

But I am happy at the Doctor's office

At Sydney's party

Watching...

Play date with Caden... sharing :)

Getting ready to go to the park

Wow.  She looks so small.

Even smaller.

Again, so small.

Now she is having fun!

Good morning Mama... You weren't in the middle of anything were you?

Love the skirt with the Uggs.
