Bunnies, Eggs, and Teeth???

Ahhh... Easter is here!  Celebrating all the "first" holidays with Bailey is ALWAYS a big deal - We made a real celebration out of this one!
Obviously it is too early to really explain to Bailey the importance of this holiday, but for Christian and I, it has definitely been more "special" than normal.  This is the first Easter that we felt we could actually see God in our life... through Bailey.  Just has He resurrected his Son and brought Him to life to save us, He brought us Bailey and resurrected our faith in Him.
This time last year, Christian and I were wondering if God was even real.  We felt that praying to "someone" for over three years for the same thing with no avail was becoming disheartening and not to mention, this week marks the 2 year anniversary of my mother's death.  It was all too much.
But, just as God does - He came through and gave us Bailey at our weakest, proving that just like He can resurrect his Son from the dead, He could resurrect our faith.
We want so badly to show Bailey how great and powerful this God is that gave her to us - but maybe next year :)

This was an interesting Easter.  We started the day pretty normal, opening our Easter Basket from Boppy (Christian's mom) then headed to mass.  Mass offered us something new when one of the alter boys completely fell out face first on the floor during the homily...  Now, for anyone who says that mass is the same thing every Sunday, this offered a kind of change...
We later had brunch, dyed Easter eggs, cooked ALL day, and walked to the park.
One question we kept asking ourselves was, "Why is Bailey is such a bad mood?"  She seemed exceptionally squirmy, extremely drooly, and generally whinny.  Then, for some odd reason, I rubbed on her gums - that is when I found it - her first TOOTH!  Yes, she is 4 months old exactly, and her first tooth is coming in.  It is so sharp!  Then it all made sense.

To complicate things more, as we were walking home from the park, we came across a baby bird that had fallen from it's nest - we couldn't stand to walk away, so home we headed with a baby bird.
All in all, Easter was great!  We ended up being reminded of our faith, got some good pictures of Bailey, witnessed an alter boy faint, and of course, brought home a new bird...

Still trying to understand why she is in the yard...
